    Legend has it, that when Kupe first discovered Aotearoa, it was already inhabited.

    A grey ghost haunted the corridors between Aoraki and Taranaki. A creature named Thingy.

    Nobody knows where he came from, and nobody really asked. He is an endemic mystery made of fluff. After a brief stint on New Zealand television, Thingy went into exile. For twenty years he hid -- finding refuge between wop-wop and tinny-house. No more than a waif.

    But now he's back.

    A creature of singular vision, Thingy has returned. Flame-throwing, pun-slinging, and ready to take on foes single-handed. A hero for millennial-children-turned-adults. So here it is: a tee for any who love this toothless icon. So you can remind others that Thingy is not gone, he's just gone on an adventure.
